Habitat's Kerry Thomson honored as 2010 Woman of Year
at women's history lunch

Kerry Thomson, executive director of Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County since 2000, was
honored as Bloomington’s 2010 Woman of the Year Wednesday during the 25th annual
Women’s History Month Luncheon at the Convention Center of Bloomington-Monroe County.
Former Bloomington Mayor Tomilea Allison received the 2010 Lifetime Contribution Award.
Indiana University professor emeritus Gladys DeVane led a troupe of actors in presenting her
show "On Their Shoulders We Stand: A salute to women who paved the way."
